Nexium® 24HR 20mg can be used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or for prevention of stomach and duodenal ulcers. It is also used to treat symptoms of duodenal ulcers in adults, such as difficulty swallowing and the presence of painful conditions. It is easy to take and can be taken with or without food, but should be used with caution in elderly patients. Do not take Nexium 24HR 20mg if you have stomach or duodenal ulcers, and the patient should see a doctor right away if they have difficulty swallowing. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, such as carbantyurelin, cyclic nucleotides, aluminium, calcium, iron, or zinc, do not take esomeprazole with this product. If you have an allergy to esomeprazole or to any of the other ingredients of this product, do not take esomeprazole with these products. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

The company has confirmed the results of its annual survey of sales.
Mylan will receive full global sales of Nexium® tablets in the first of the 18 months of the year and will make the first ever Nexium® tablet, sold as Prilosec, available online.
The company is now looking at other medicines to boost its growth.
Mylan's Nexium® tablets will be available on the UK market from September 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018 and will be sold to customers in the UK by July 18, 2019. Nexium® tablets will be sold through pharmacies as a single pack of 30 tablets.
Mylan said: "We are pleased to announce the full global sales of our Prilosec tablet, launched in the UK as a result of our launch in the USA, as well as the full global sales of Prilosec products in the UK, starting in the second quarter of 2018."
Prilosec is indicated for the treatment of patients with chronic heart failure and is not indicated for the prevention of cancer in patients with cancer of the breast or other organs.
